Stuck in Facebook HELL... Need help..:-)

Guys,

I finally took the plunge in playing with facebook pages...

I have a really stupid question that I just can't seem to figure out..

On the left side of any facebook page there is an "about" section..

How the hell can I enter a link in there???

I am editing the page through the admin --> basic information..

There is a tab called about:

In there is the text and/or URL that you can put... I tried many different syntax but NON turned into a live link...

I see other pages with live links... why can't I create one???
Is there a limit per fans or something??

If anyone can help me.. This shit is killing me..

I know it is something so simple and stupid that I a missing..

I think u didn`t understand the question correctly

The OP mean that he want to make the link in the about section a live mean go forward when click on it


OP: I think facebook changed the terms and u become unable to make it a live

But try to search (I said i think)

What are other pages with live links in the 'About' section? It looks like this section is text only.

I don't know about others, but on my pages "live links" are working.

I think you are correct... for some reason even the ones that I saw awhile ago that had live links... no more. :-(

That sucks... Facebook is really all about keeping everyone within their platform..

Not only facebook, many others are trying to prevent users go outside, like myspace or vkontakte. They usually write that they do it to prevent phishing attacks,etc.
