One month, Still NO Profits! Help Please

Okay I've made money online previously writing articles but got tired of that and decided to do CPA. Paid someone to build me a pretty decent looking website and decided to use twitter to actually promote it. I have over 25 accounts with roughly about 50 thousand followers spread between them. I've tried mentioning people, posting links and using automated dm's to get traffic to my site but still I have made not ONE penny in CPA yet.

I know I could try a different traffic method but I heard twitter was pretty decent and I would like to stick to one thing at a time. If someone could give me some pointers I'd really appreciate it.

50 thousand followers and absolutely no leads? Try promoting less "spammy" offers - people get bored of "free ipads" eventually and make sure your links are actually counting towards your account.

twitter is one of the worst traffic sources to convert unless you're someone related to oprah or obama...

try facebook...or learn some seo

@download: I don't promote the cpa offers directly. I promote my site. Maybe I should try directly promoting the offers instead???

@bornformoney: I know a little about SEO but my site isn't really that sort of site. It's not the kind of site you add information to.

twitter(and facebook while youre at it) is meant for soft selling and you will see much better results doing so.

One month is not a long time - I didn't make money for 8 months - you have to try and test the shit out of everything and get on with it.

I have not had much luck with twitter. I think that a lot of the traffic there is junk. I have much better luck with other social sites.

Did you target your followers to your niche? Also, what kind of offers are you promoting, the easy email/zip submits, the two page, three page, or higher converts?

Also, remember, twitter, is full of people advertising also, so its hard competition...

I found twitter very bad for producing leads because everybody is doing the same thing in nearly every tweet there's a link to a website with someone trying to sell something.

That's what differs a valuable account from the worthless one, followers. If your followers are not niche targeted and pretty much random, then don't hold your hopes high. You should try building a list rather than selling stuff to twitter folks. If you build a list, you can at least hit them hard and sell them something. Most people on there get lost in all that waves of tweets, might be hard to keep up with all that junk post floods.

All but 2 of my accounts are targeted followers. But the good news is that I actually made $2 yesterday from just my twitter traffic. arty:

I'm thinking about doing a facebook fan page now though since everyone says twitter traffic is junk. Is there a way to make a facebook fan page without linking it to my real facebook???

do you know you will only learn when you try? you dont have to ask everybody for your every move. you have to test and test and test. one month is not long. i earned after a year. you just have to be patient and read tips here and apply.

I'm not ranting. I was asking for help, some pointers as to other things I can try but that's okay. I'll just stick to what I was doing because I earned my first income with CPA yesterday.

@OP,

One month is in my view too short a time to start seeing considerable results. from the looks of it, you seem to have spent a bit of money from the word go? From my experience, spending money (which raises expectations) from the beginning isn't quite a good move.

@ those who said twitter ain't good for making money:

I beg to differ on this. In the month of June I embarked on a twitter strategy that was mentioned right here on BHW a WSO if i'm not mistaken, and I made $30.. Not big an amount but given that I just set it up once and let it be, it was 30 easy dollars for doing nothing.

I guess what plays a critical role here has to do with the niche, the landing page and the whole sales funnel!!
