Creating and Managing a Facebook Fan Page

What tools do you use to manage multiple fan pages and create them? My Fan pages are for my ecommerce stores. I'd like a tool to manage and schedule updates across FB, twitter and other social networking platforms.

I'm also curious if there are free apps for fb fan page design, most of the Apps I see want you to pay monthly to use them.

Any help is appreciated.
