Hey Everyone,
Just checking in on the thread to answer questions. I've got a lot of time this weekend and am hoping to finally launch a list or two for you guys. Will update here once that is up and working.
Now to QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS:
Thanks for the reply bfellow.
What I did was go to Google KW Tool and punch my website in and seeing what keywords it gives me back - after all, this is what Google thinks my website is related to.
I select the keywords that have the heaviest monthly local searches (and do actually relate to my site) and then... add them to Market Samurai and also add my main domain via the 'add domains' option.
What this then does is search Google and tells me if any of my webpages are linked for any of these keywords inside the top 1000 on Google.
Fortunately, the pages that were ranked highest for each keyword, tended to be the subpage which would make sense to be shown to the visitor if they were searching for that keyword, so I then used the 'link lock' feature in ScrapeBox to list several of my webpages, with 1 or 2 of those anchor keywords.
For example:
domain.com {keyword}
domain.com/subpage1 {keyword1|keyword2}
So now I'll always be deep linking as well as linking to the homepage. It'll all just be randomly selected by SB for each blog I'm posting to.
I'm also using MS to track the rankings for my main webpages on the domain.
I guess it's now a case of wait and see.
This is a great strategy and very very similar to what I do. GWT is great because it tells you what Google is thinking. Once you know that, you can target the right keywords and getting ranked will be much easier. I'd love to hear what your results are.
Amazing thread. I recently just got a WP with EMD too,
and only using scrapebox for backlinks (new to SEO).
From my experience, I am mostly commenting on AA blogs that are nofollow.
Are your backlins nofollow as well?
Thank you for the compliment. Glad you have enjoyed the thread. As for do vs. no follow, I don't even pay attention to this. If all of your links were do links, I think that would look really suspicious. Some people think it is critical, but in all of my experiments I have never seen this as a defining factor in my search rankings.
Bfellow
Entertaining post mate. I love these types of demos as its all plain English and at about my level atm. I have one site doing $2 day in adsense on page 2, all with manual back linking (87 backlinks ? page rank 2). It?s time I looked at automation so this example is fantastic. I appreciate the time you are taking to answer questions and look forward tracking your progress.
P.S ? Is there a tool you use to accumulate a list to post to?.
Cheers
Thanks for your post. I do use this tool to accumulate my lists. I use several server's though that are separate from my posting server's. It does take a lot of computing power to build them, then weed out the bad links.
This is a good study, i still dont have the gut to blast my site. I do blast to first tier or web 2.0 site linking to mine. Bfellow are you still ranking in the search engines and i hope your earning is increasing. If you have like hundred urls to blast to how do you go about it on scrapebox, can i blast to them at the same time
For people who are still unsure about this, I would focus on a test site and just see for yourself. The key is link velocity and letting Google manually discover the links. If you blast once then ping them all, you are screaming for a sandbox. But if you blast continuously, monitor how fast links are being picked up, and blast a huge base that will continue to be discovered for months, you won't have to deal with the sandbox.
You definitely can use SB for your second tier links as well, backlinking articles, bookmarking sites, etc.
Are you still blasting your site bfellow and do you intend to stop blasting it, if so when.
I am no longer blasting the site. I haven't for about three weeks now. I am not looking to see how well rankings hold post-blasting as part of the experiment. So far so good. Traffic and rankings are steady. YSE is currently listing 36,664 back links, which is actually up slightly from a day or two ago. This is because I laid down so many links, that my link discovery by SE's will continue despite not posting any new links. I'm still holding my first page ranking for my primary keyword as well.
Simple question and sorry if you already answered it, I readed the whole post yesterday but I can't remember if you had covered it.
Do you post only to high PR pages or page without PR will work too? Because when I scrape I end up with a lot of results but after I'm done posting on them I'm left with a much smaller list. I usually go for page PR which hit the PRs average even harder
I target pages of all PR's. My main goal is more quantity than quality. I think if you only have say, all high PR links, it is a read flag to Google that links aren't organic.
Sorry to hear your site deindexed. What I would do is continue to post with SB but without the pinging. I never ping after the first blast. Also, did you just run one big blast, or did you blast again and again over at least a month? Blasting once, then pinging, then doing nothing is a BIG no-no according to all of my experiments. It is a dead giveaway that the links are not organic to the big SE's.
Thanks everyone for your comments and questions. Keep them coming!
