19 y.o. Hacker Arrested in UK Soca Involved

"Seems the glorious leader of LulzSec got arrested, it's all over now... wait... we're all still here! Which poor bastard did they take down?"

From lulzsec twitter :)

I doubt the kid is a "leader" of anything.

People keep missing the point. Anonymous LulzSec whatever you wanna call it is not a group. It is an idea.

Information should be free to the masses. As long as someone attempts to limit information or limit speech there will be another Ryan Cleary.

Ryan Cleary will be looking over his shoulders in any US jail.

That will let him think good and clear about his actions and how many lives he destroyed when releasing data to the public when he's getting "pumped".

This is one of the very few times I'll "side" with the authorities. Lulzsec hasn't done anyone any good. They've been targeting innocent gaming sites (and God knows what else), taunting and destroying in their path. This guy deserves to be locked up. Motherfucker!

Nice you approve of an extraordinary rendition in this case. No one has offered any evidence yet that he has actually done anything wrong. For all we know he only did what Lulzsec said he did. Host a chat. Speech even inflammatory.

These kind of persons can not do anything in their lives but they try to reduce their frustration by destroying others!!:spankme:

Could be bluffing - we don't know.

and there i thought "hacker" meant to "hack" into something. Guess i was wrong

You were not, he had certainly hack into something if he was a part of DDoS attack, I pretty much doubt he has dozens or hundreds of his own computers to be a part of DDoS attack ;)

Ignorant press have failed to realize that actual authorities - i.e. Scotland Yard - didn't imply in the slightest that Ryan was LulzSec.

taken from they're twitter: http://twitter.com/#!/lulzsec

You checked they're site? Has some pretty cool downloads lol

To anyone that thinks publishing stolen private information in the public domain isn't ideal, I challenge you to read this:
Code:
attrition.org/security/rebuttal/rebuttal-lulzsec_ups_the_ante.html

Granted it's NOT ethical, nor does it help the user/customer. I don't particularly agree with it, BUT I'd much rather KNOW that my accounts could be potential targets.

i am pretty sure he isn't apart of LulzSec. For him to be caught that easily and not cover his tracks. Yup its for certain he's not apart of it. what i do think they are doing is probably trying to persuade him to give up information on these guys. But in Reality The real LulSec Hacker's are to smart not to cover their tracks. I suspect those guys are behind vpn, proxies, bnet, and possibly tor. Making it next to impossible to find out who they are, and on top of that i am pretty sure they have ton's of soc puppets out there to mass their real identities. People keep forgetting these are real hacker's who know their stuff yes they are obnoxious and ignorant with their flaunting but its evident these guys been around long enough to know how to stay safe. and i also believe LuLSec is a group of individual's which has no collective "Leader" which will make it even more difficult to find or pretty much cut off. I do condone the things which they are doing and detest the fact they are exposing peoples info. But one thing the said that does resonate with me is " Atleast we are publicly exposing companies weakness and helping them to fix these vulnerabilities they have, Imagine the other hacker's out there keeping these information private which you guys will never know they have." And Sadly thats the true reality of this world we live in. I can't remember where but the said that there is almost like 1000+ hack's an hour happening right now in cyberspace. and if these boostful individual never truly expose's these vulnerabilities we would probably really never knew these thing's existed to this level. Now if you are reading this again . I DO CONDONE ANY AND ALL ACTIONS THESE GUYS ARE DOING. It's retarded and stupid and they should be brought to justice but they did make a solid point. Just some food for thought
