If it is through the website you started for the challenge then ya it counts I assume they saw your advertise page?

Maybe they saw it, but it was through Twitter, I was chatting with a representative of the company without knowing it.

i was checking my competitions backlinks today and trying to build some myself i found my top competitor has hardly as many backlinks as the guys below him but his all seem to be on high pr sites, so i made a list of the ones hes on and most of them are just profile links on these high pr sites, i put the list of them in a txt file, the threads in the link building section if any of you want to build some links from it

If i remember correctly the easy banner creater was just mention to create an advertise here banner which will take people to your advertise here page. People will (in theory) approach you to advertise on your site and it is up to you whether you advertise them. Simple ads manager will rotate your adds so you can put an unlimited number on your site. Im not sure what you mean in number 5.

Thank you so much for doing this, I found this post about 20 days ago and finally decided to follow it. I am new to this whole thing and currently at day 4 (so my questions may sound stupid), I got couple questions about the advertise page.

1. The Easy Banner Creator is for the advertiser, right?
2. If I want to promote sth here, besides target the advertiser can I target people who, in your case, are interested in football? Or should I do it somewhere else?
3. This is kind related to the last question. If somebody wants to put their Ad here, can the Ad target anything or only advertiser and football related?
4. How many Ads can I put on this page? If more than 1 is ok, how should I construct this page? What is the maximum Ads Can be put here?
5. Finally, how can I know the advertiser is trustworthy?

Note: Personally although this method is good, when i use videos I like to go even further. If you have $47 to spare I would recommend you have a look at these pre-made ready to use animated video backgrounds (http://rfurl.net/vidbg) which you can use with something like windows movie maker. They also come with sound loops which you can also use in your videos. I will cover this in a post for you guys later!

If you sign up to their newsletter they send you some free samples. I am going to try them out.

I agree with crashed. I sold 3 business hostgator hosting last week and today they say it is a fraud. Wonder what lead them to say that. I have raised a ticket and if they do not solve my query then I will remove all the banners from my website. 150$ was a cool amount though from a website which is only 15 days old All thanks to crashed atleast people are clicking and milking me money (well in this particular case so called )

I have started a sport related website today but it is for UK/Aus/Nz only. Do you still think I can apply for Maxbounty considering my market is Non US and Non Cananda?

Also I have noticed one thing just now. On the first day you had created an "About Us" page which is missing from the football website today. Also the menu is missing from the sidebars. Was it done by purpose? Or it is just something we should ignore?

I don't really target keywords, I try and keep my videos general unless I am targetting it at a specific article etc...

With 48hours of video posted every minute do you think YouTube has time to check? If you are stupid with them and try spamming then you might get banned.

The videos are for youtube traffic, so people searching on youtube find your video etc and then find your link. Also they give good backlinks to your site.

Yes Hostgator is dodgy, just do a search for hostgator on the forum.

Yes, though I thought you already had MaxBounty? You only need to get 1 account with them and can use it on as many sites as you like.

The About us page is back today, not sure what you mean by the menu missing? It works fine for me...
