Which package did you buy? This actually sounds like quite a good idea, may do a WSO case study on it
What constrains Scrapebox? I.e., what would make it complete faster, more RAM, faster CPU, or faster network connection? Some of the earlier posts talk about how Scrapebox makes the computer slow, so just trying to figure out how I could minimise that if I bought it.

Well to run many threads you need a lot of ram. i run w7 32bit with 4Gb installed and i can run 500threads on fast poster but it tend to crash after about 40k posts or so. so small runs.
I made a linkcheck today on over 300k links wich made scrapebox download almost 3Tb of data(if linkchecker is correct). So internetconnection is essential run on atleast 10Mbit.
when you do posting u realy need to use fast proxies. the more you have the more threds you can spread over them. my last try was with 150 threads on 30 proxies. It was decent but not "fast"
There is also other ways of making things faster if you lower the accuracy by lowering timeouts but that usualy don't makes it alot faster.

link checker used to take up alot of my resources, so i couldnt do anything else on my computer, but they have fixed that problem now

...mac...go outside and breathe some real air...push back from the keys for a while from time to time...automate...outsource...take a vacation...I wish i had 2 laptops, i would use both for scrapebox

hehe yea if i use more then 120 connections on fast poster my internet goes down. tried 150 today and after 5 min No internet

many ask me about vps but i have never tried that, is it hard to setup?
It's not hard at all. I just got the $35 Windows Server 2008 package from xsserver last night. I got the email this morning with the VPS info. I just had to do the system updates and then install Scrapebox on it and transfer my license over to it. It was really easy.
By the way, can you PM me with the info on the proxies that you use? I can't PM yet.

No its very easy to set up, trust me you'll make your life so much easier if you get a vps. Its like two computers for the price of a game a month.

3 TB for 300k links - that's 10 MB a link. That's a helluva lot. I seriously hope that linkchecker isn't correct just so I don't piss off my ISP. I have a spare PC that I might get running again to dedicate to Scrapebox.
