not from a marketing perspective but from a personal perspective.. like its just getting to the point where its annoying ,everytime i check its just people telling you what they like/hate/ why they are depressed .. or telling you what they're doing and i honestly dont give a fuck. anyone else starting to feel this way ?

I get sick of it and stop checking it so often, but in the end there's usually a couple people I need to stay in touch with and the easiest/most convenient way is through Facebook. Oh well.

Yeap, Facebook is for people to boast and boast and telling others crap that we are not interested.
I remember reading a news report that facebook actually lowers self-esteem due to comparison. For instance, he/she has a big party and you wonder why you aren't bless and such. lol though.

That is why I learn to click that X and click "Hide all Post by...." to stop that person's craps.

Maybe I should start posting, "AH my crap is big and brownish today", "I just masturbated and released a handful!"

Its funny about tumblr getting popular, that shit is so old. FB is def burning itself out, how can it get any bigger? there is only one direction for it to go from where it is now. It may explode again when it buys google though.

I hope they get desperate and start allowing more cleavage in the ads, or the interns that approve ads start taking bribes again.

Frankly Tumblr and twitter are far more interesting because now a days people are tired of talking to stupid peeps they know. Rather make new friends who wont judge you by everything you say and the internet is all about making a new identity after all, isnt it?

I use my personal account no longer. FB started to dig too deep into my personal life (family members, phone number, credit card, tagging, other bullshit) - its a good time to delete the account and switch to something else.

But marketing-wise facebook still rocks, you see now I know all the family members, phone numbers and credit cards.
