Market Samurai Extremely Slow?

I'm currently trying the Market Samurai trial and I'm finding that it's extremely slow. It can take any where up to half an hour to fetch Google traffic estimator data on just a handful of keywords.

Is this a limit in the demo trial or is this just how MS is? I noticed in some of the videos that it fetches the data almost instantly, so I was curious.

Slightly off topic, but when you go to Keyword Research and click 'Analyze Keywords' is MS fetching back the search count under the column header 'Searches'?

Because mine aint. It'll fetch back Adwords data but not search count.

Mine sometimes stops at 99%. But when it works it finishes in 15 - 30 seconds for 8 KW's. What's your speedtest?

i live in india and there aren't any pathetic connections in world than india.but it takes me 3-4 minutes for fetching 800 keywords....yeah it stucks up at 99 percent sometimes but then i press cancel.till then most of the data is loaded.and yes i m using that 40 day trial (thats kinda full only :) as i uninstall it and download again using other email)
 
I started a thread a little while ago about comparing the speed to MS to MNF. At this point MS is so slow, it's almost useless.

I was curious what the speed difference is between MS and MNF. MS is great for some stuff but it is getting so slow for keyword research, I'm about to ditch it.

Yes totally agreed as I too belong from India.ButAlong with that the rank tracker acts like wonder.I have bought MS about 3 months ago and it is really awesome.Though I have placed MS on server and if other bots are running simultaneously then I do find some problem but its not that slow I guess.
 
Try the 30 day trial of Keyword Country. Since it's done on line, it might be faster. Once you watch the videos on the main site, you'll see that the reports are more comprehensive than MS. It can also gather text on top competing sites for articles or site pages.

Keyword research results are more current than what you get from Google Keywords Tool or MS. KWC looks at industry searches as well as browser searches. Most KW results are out of date.

The main site videos are very informative. KWC may cost you more than other tools, but you'll see that it's worth it.
They have an affiliate program, too... steady monthly income if you set it up on a client's account.

For me it seems like SEO Competition module doesnt work at all.
I am using the trial.BTW is there any software that compares to market samurai?
