Google + 1??? Seriously Google?

So.. if it wasn't hard enough to rank already they come up with this crap. Man I am so tired of these troublemaking fucks and their monopoly on the internet.

This is begging for a mobile app that can:

1)crack nearest wifi network
2) open browser and conduct a search
3) select your site from the search
4) +1 your site.

Someone get coding!

it will probably take some time untill this thing will grow on the users eyes.
most of the users probably won't even know what the +1 is for. untill they get hang of it, it will be ignored.

Chances are this +1 crap is gonna be lost and forgotten before it makes any impact.

I think the biggest mistake we can do is follow each and every shxx they come out with. I am not saying not to stay on top of the game, but we should not neglect the things that work for something that might or not.

If G does stick to this and it actually matters -there will be more than enough ppl offering just what you mentioned above.

they also have added the google profile thing into your search results and stuff
remember that all that google tries is not always a win-win .
their social media stuff hasnt been always the greatest- orkut - only caught up in india and brazil for the most part. non/low monetizable markets.

features like this only encourage spammers or bots and services being made to serve this purpose.

I read up on this and it only a recommendation. I don't think it will affect SEO results. You will however, need to improve your +1 for your site to get clicked. My 2 cents.

Did you opt in for it? I thought this was gonna be for mutual contacts only.. if it's not it will be pretty easy to make money with.. if google is moving to social then this should make it go up higher for all people who's mutual friends (contacts) have +1'd it. so, 10,000 mutual contacts interested in your sites niche + 10K +1's = 10k extra potential clicks especially if you know exactly when they will be searching for it. Am I right?

It seems by default it ONLY shows +1 from people Google knows you know. So in orderr to do anything useful with it you need to jump whole hog into Google's shitty social media - FUCK THAT
