I've finally started on my im journey bought a domain and hosting earlier this week. It has only been five days, I'm not even done with the site nor is it even indexed in any search engine, how is it that I got 6 unique views already? is my site hacked?

Are you sure the views isn't you viewing the site while you're working on it?

There are quite a few sites monitoring new registrations and crawl those. The domain could've been previously registered. The domain could have type-in traffic. A lot of reasons why you could already be seeing visitors. A hacker is the least likely possibility.

Alright thank you guys I use the tracker on my Cpanel and it says I have 6 unique views even one from china.. and yes when I do the sitename check it doesn't show up because I haven't even registered for that yet

Not wanting to be an a$$ here but why are you guys even answering to this thread like this.

First of all if you think that your site is hacked because you got a few views you will have a lot of sleepless nights ahead of you.

Regarding the indexing part, the best and fastest way to index a site into a search engine is by backlinking to it. Register at some social bookmarking sites, get your site out there, link back to it, get a few web 2.0 properties or article directories, create some content and backlink from there too.

There is a way to get your site indexed in a few hours, but it is kinda spammy and I never liked it because even though it indexes your site it also shows hundreds of these whois and statistics sites below it so I would avoid that.

Sometimes people who want to register the same domain name checks it if its available or gone. You must have got the visits by the same way.

If one of the uniques is from china, i'd be worried. They tried hacking google so you could be next on their list.
