authorize.net is a gateway, they are not a merchant processing bank. you need a processing account before you get a gateway.. :)

i would go with cardservice international at cardservice.com. .

Thats not a merchant account. its a gateway

I've used CDG Commerce in the past and they are top notch :)

Why dont you try paypal's merchant account. Paypal is famous and very good merchant account too

I used gogle checkout after paypal pissed me off for the last time.

Google Checkout ended up being cheaper, and they automatically transfer your funds for you.

I liked them.

I've used CDGcommerce as well and haven't had any complaints. They will approve pretty much anyone too so if you're worried about that then this would be a choice.

Yes, I also prefer Google Checkout but most of my customers not and I think many other customers also use PayPal than Google Checkout....

Linkpoint is one I've seen. I think it has gateway and merchant capabilities.

What type of % do they charge? Do they have any limit that you cant exceed to take out on a monthly basis otherwise you get taxed?

One limitation on Google, which may or may not be an issue with your situation, is that they aren't set up for reoccurring (subscription) payments.

Linkpoint has a lot of control issues and will cancel you without warning, giving you a blacklisting on your credit for getting a new merch account.

Stay completely clear of securepay.com/pipelinedatasolutions/charge.com, as they are all the same company and will trash your bank accounts and then try to scam overdraft charges. They attached my merch account to my checking and filed to attach it to the joint savings behind my back and then pinged the hell out of both accounts as many times as they wanted because there is no ping limit to a savings account like there is for a checking.

I had to threaten them with a law suit for the $8,200.00 in fees at $25.00 each + the additional return of the $5,600.00 they took from that account.

I now use multiple outlets but here is a great one that hasn't let me down in over 3 years and I always recommend it... Check out freeauthnet.c0m
