Any hockey fans around watching what's happening in Vancouver, BC Canada?
Lost the Stanley cup game and they are rioting.

Of course I had to go and create a fan page called "Calm Down Vancouver", but I fear I should of started it sooner!

Anyone that riots over a hockey game should be shot on site...at least the ones that are burning cars and breaking windows

I agree... reports are a boston fan was pushed over an overpass and died... can't figure out if it's social media rumor, or real yet... News hasn't reported yet, just FB and twitter.

This was inevitable. I just moved outta downtown a couple weeks ago - was right beside rogers arena. The rioting is purposeless and childish. I am ashamed to be a Vancoverite today.

is it wrong that I want to utilize the riot for fan pages and followers on twitter?

I know you enjoy a mans freshly oiled penis sliding into your anus.

lol..now every one knows what you like...:baby09:

To the topic: being fanatic @ sport is blessing ...getting it to riot is stupidity.. these kids with wow effect will never understand how it feels when your team looses...well most ppl take it with sporting spirit but some times ..shit happens

anyone who thinks the riots are bad this time, it was much worse in '94 when the canucks lost to the rangers.

What can i say the canucks choked in another big game and their fans are pissed :D

What a bunch of idiots. I really don't think it is true about a Boston fan being pushed over an overpass because it would have been huge news.

True, theirs nothing in the news about it at all. Just a punch of bloggers and forum posts spreading rumors around, maybe it just makes vancouver feel better if they think they killed a boston fan.

You should see what it is like here in the UK with Football. In all matches the opposition fans have to be separated by a police wall in every game as standard.

Yeah no kidding wasnt it last year in Serie A they had to ban fans from games?

Yeah our fans tend to fight a lot with italian fans after the Heysel disater where 39 people died

Then also in rome where gangs of italians attacked liverpool fans, even families, a young 13 year old boy was slashed across the face needed 200 stiches.

well the thing ive noticed about soccer ,sorry football to everyone outside the US is alot more of it is started by fights between opposing fans. Where as the two Vancouver riots both started amongst only the Canucks fans being pissy over losing a game.

A whole riot because of that? That is quite spontaneous.

Yup lol, evidently losing the Stanley Cup in a game 7 is enough for the city of Vancouver to tip over cars and set them on fire, loot stores etc.
