Domain totally removed - Move on and forget?

Hello,

A couple of weeks ago I registered a domain which did great in the serps.

Without any backlinks at all it managed to rank great and some days it made $xx from adsense. Its a "semo autoblog" which fetch some info from another website.

Nothing blackhat at all. Just fetched some needed info. I have done ZERO backlinking.

Well all the posts in "blog" was pretty small, when talking about text.

Anyways, two weeks ago I noticed the traffic flow has stopped and I realised that is totally disappeared from the SERP.. Looks like its banned

What can I do? Just move on and forget about the domain?

Should I start build links and hope it comes back? Is it even possible it comes back?

Any advice welcome

Nothing comes up.. Its gone! Banned for life or is it something I can try to do?

I heard about something like if you transfer your domain it can be reindexed. I dont know its true or not.

Register for google webmaster tools.
Verify site.
Use the diagnostics in the webmaster tools to see what the issue is.
Make an informed decision as to whether to continue or move on, or post details here and ask.

Will try that.. How informative are the message in webmaster tools? Like "Website removed from the the serps beacuse autoblog etc etc" or how does it work?

If you didn't do anything to get it removed, I think it's just dancing. Obviously the deindexing is ominous, but I wouldn't assume anything with Google.

I would post new content, maybe get a few really high quality links (either manual blog comments or maybe some good manually reviewed web2.0 sites like hubpages). Add content every few days, and see what happens after a few weeks.

Honestly, if you aren't in with a site: search than I'd give it up and go for a new domain.

You did it before, and you didn't waste a lot of time building links which means you now know what works and can do it again. This time don't take content from the same source as before and begin building backlinks.

Yeah, thank guys.

My biggest mistake I think was that I had to little content so it became a MFA type of website. Well, I think I can manage to get another website up there in the same niche. Too bad though it was a great domain, and most of the traffic was beacuse of the domain I think. But its possible to do it again!

You will get a fairly informative message, for example. Site removed from SERPs due to suspected malware.

This is a tool which is designed to help webmasters stick to google guidelines, so don't be afraid to have a go.

The ides is they tell you the problem, give you a chance to fix it and then resubmit the site for reconsideration.

Worth 20 mins of your time, and at least you'll know if it's worth pursuing or not.

I tried to Google this issue but I cant seem to find if anyone ever that got back in the serp. Anyone in here who have gotten a banned website back in the serp?

Yes, a client used a reaqlly naff shared host and and had his Joomla site compromised. They installed a small iframe on his site, and when I registered him for google webmaster tools they explained the reason.

I cleaned the code, resubmitted and he was back in the SERPs a few hours later.

Yes I got "banned" for spamming too many links in a short period of time, I just kept adding content and after a few weeks the site came back.

But I guess not all bans are the same.

I would keep on adding lengthy unique content and do some deep linking to that. It should come back eventually.

I had a similar situation. My site didn't dissapear completely, but only a fraction of it was still indexed. Went from 2k searches to 10/20 per month. That was almost 2 years ago. I tried everything to get it fully indexed again, but never got it done. Now I'm just going to let it unresolve for awhile, and see what happens when I build a completely different site on that domain in a few months. Domain's got a dmoz listing and lots of backlinks so I just can't let go of it.

site:domain.com and it couldnt be found and now its back?

Would be great if that could happend to me as well
