T-Shirt wholesaler?

I've got a clothing company and right now were currently purchasing bulk hanes tshirts and screen printing on them but we want to move into using our own custom shirts(without the hanes tags, our own tag, sizes, etc)..

I've ordered a few samples from China, and Pakistan but the quality just didn't cut it..

Ideally would be to find a wholesaler who would do everything -- make the shirt, screen print the designs and tags, and ship to me.

My clothing company is similiar to a DC shoes kind of company and so I'd like the quality to be as good. These shirts are sold all over my city and when I get custom tags and shirts made they will be put into all the Zumiez in my area and hopefully move nationally after that.


P.S. I'm willing to do some kind of JV with my company if somebody out there thinks they can upscale my clothing company to a main stream clothing line across the nation. You can check the website for an idea of the shirts.. http://stayproper.com

P.S.S. - People LOVE my shirts. I order 500 shirts and their sold within 2 weeks for $20 a pop. Then I'm out of shirts for another 3 months and everyone is constantly asking me when the new orders coming so I know theirs potential.

Hey! I can help you out big time.

Hanes is still a fairly thin shirt, and they don't let you customize because the stock your purchasing is left over stock/stocklots. A good shirt should be anywhere from 160GSM to 180GSM. Should not need too much more.

I'm from Canada and do blank T-s as my main business. Me and my partner have a Factory in Pakistan that his Uncle owns, and can customize the shirts with tags/screen prints/sizes ect. Our order is 100-200 dozen per month though to keep the costs down.

Colors: Red, Black, Blue, Grey, White are the main colors

Sizes: We'd like our shirts to fit like if you were wearing a Ed Hardy or Affliction shirt(these won't look like affliction shirts, but I just think the Affliction sizing is nice).. and we'd need them in S, M, L, XL, 2XL and L, XL would be the most ordered.

To start I'd only order like 500 a month but things will pick up very fast and I'd say we could go through 2,000 a month after 6 months of consistent stock. Plus, once I get a consistent stock I'll do some internet marketing to drive a lot of traffic towards my website.

Most of our designs have multiple logos. If you go to http://stayproper.com you can see a couple of examples.

I've had multiple samples ordered from China, and Pakistan and I haven't been impressed with the quality yet. The shirt is too thick, the ink they use for the printing is too thick and spotty.. but maybe I've just found poor suppliers?

I have sold some tees in years past that were geared to some event or social rise. Back when Wendy's had the "Where's the Beef" campaign going I made of bunch of tees with "Where's the Beach". I would sell 100+ a day on the summer weekends in Panama City Beach, FL. at 20 bucks a pop (mid 1970's).

This paid for my beach side room and all my expenses plus. I would buy around 100lbs of shrimp and sell it all on Monday back home. Made more in three days than I did at work in a month.

So yes money can be made in this niche. However a site with 2 offerings and no stock won't last long.....

That website is not finished and I have never attempted to sale any of my shirts online. That will be finished once I have the stock to back it up.

I have about 15 different kind of shirts being sold throughout local shops here in my city.

The problem is not selling the shirts. Every time I order 500 shirts they are sold within 2 weeks. They go that fast because since I don't always have shirts in stock they know that they need to buy them as soon as possible.

I'd like to find a reliable supplier with quality so that I can (1.) Make our shirts custom and branded. (2.) Always have supply for the demand.

So to sum it up yes that site is weak because it's not used and only has 2 designs even posted on it(I could go post 13 more within the next hour but it is pointless considering their isn't any physical shirts to send out), but the potential is huge, and that's why this post was made to seek out a reliable, quality supplier.

The sizing Ed hardy uses is called Custom Fit or Muscle Fit, we have a job worker who used to produce for buying house of Ed Hardy, Do you want the printing to be felt on the fabric or you want the printing to be smooth as it is in case of Ed Hardy ?

Or your area of the country is much different than mine. Demographics and location influenced what the shirt was. I've been in the screen printing business for 7 years.
