Google tossed my site from page 1 to 500 position...Why?

Google tossed my site from page 1 to 500 position...What i want to no is...is there any recent google algorithm change like they did in march(Panda)?

It is a 2 years old site.The site had some xrummer blasted backlinks that got it ranked to the second page.

1. does site have unique or dupe content?
2. how many xrumer links did u blast?
3. did u have other links to site b4 the blast?
4. what type of links have u had previously..

While Google is supposed to release another 'larger' algo update to Panda, I haven't seen any true signs of it yet.

Chances are its from your Xrumer blast and the links have dropped of, become deindexed, your accounts banned, etc.

I'd recommend continuing to link build your site, especially internal pages. Be sure to target a variety of keywords to diversify incoming anchor text as well.

i believe there is another one in the pipeline to flush out more spun content links. it is planned for later tis year from what i understand.

The same thing happened to my site on april 30. From page 1 it was no where in search results. It happened as by mistake i forgot to change the link colors from White to blue. I am not sure bout it seems to be the reason. So, i thought i was penalized and i started a new website, and removed all content from the site. I missed removing content from one of two pages.

So, after so many days I checked again, and my site is on the first page again ( only with one page) . Now I have already worked so much on the new site, it feel like stupid


So, my sugestion ... Post your problem in google webmaster forum. There some expert will definitely tell you the reason why your site went down. And then wait for 1-2 months, It might be just google dance and you site might come up again in 1-2 months.

Draw attention to your site by posting it on Google's Webmaster forum is your solution? No offense, but that's a pretty dumb idea. Especially considering the guy has Xrumer blasts in his link profile.

He can get plenty of thoughtful and experienced answers on here, then from the Matt Cutts troll team.

forget xrumer... at least directely on your site.

I am not an expert but I can tell you this. Build good backlinks and if your site has good content then there is no way that big G will sandbox it...

Keep building links maybe its just google dance.

I don't know if they are doing another major update. Stupid SEO blogs like to make stuff up to get traffic.

I do know that Google loves unique content and a good amount of it. Make sure that you have a good number of posts and even go in and promote 1 or 2 of those posts.

Same thing happened with me, I was on first page for some keywords, now I'm nowhere to be found. I just did 10-20 web2.0 blasts using Senuke, it's so weird. I haven't even done extreme backlinking....

The only thing I did do was to start getting a lot of web2.0 backlinks indexed because of my private blog network...so I HOPE it's just a google dance...

Same thing happened to me, my site tanked on June 7, was on 1st page for a few keywords but tanked to 100+.

My site is fairly new, like registered in April, has 20-25 pages of UNIQUE content and I don't do funny stuff like blast etc, been outsourcing link building though.

So what should I do? Wait and hope for the best, or it's most likely will be dead for like 6 months?
