Anybody know any good banks in Hong Kong to open a corporate account with a Panama company?

Sounds like you've got some crazy stuff going on. HSBC, construction bank or bank of china are all huge. I don't know specifically about Panama, but they accept foreign customers.

Keep us updated on what you find.

nothing crazy really. I live in Asia and my current Bank account is in Europe so I thought it would be nice to be a little closer to home. Thanks, those are the big ones and I may have issues with them as Panama is not part of the British commonwealth.

I hear HSBC has horrible customer service. Just as an FYI. Panama has recently signed new treaties with the US regarding disclosure on Americans with Panamanian companies and their activities. Panamanian corps are no longer truly anonymous as they once were.

I never heard that. Another good reason to NOT be an American. **Just joking fellas** :)

Even with full disclosure to America the way I have mine set up is pretty secure and anonymous. In Panama the names on the public record are "nominees" and in turn they hand over the Power of Attorney to me.

Oh and I also read that Hong Kong requires a Ltd. and this only. This could be a problem for me as mine is an Inc.

Anyone able to clarify if what I read is true?

From my own research for my offshore company,in order do open bank account in Hong Kong you need to go there and sing some papers.I would suggest Panama company with bank account in Cyprus,Cyprus has good and strong economy.
