How to know what keywords is ranked by a site??

Hi,

Like my title.. How to know if a site was rank for certain keywords?

for example: let say www.targetsite.com
I want to know, what keywords the site is ranking for and its position in search engine

Yes SEMRush is a good one, but the data is not always latest. It just gives an indication & don't assume the data as accurate, but still the best tool.

And one more way is, use google keywords tool and give website url (instead of usual keyword) and you can see the keywords that site contains !

You can also check the keyword ranking by manually. Let say you have the keyword like "Web Design" and you want it to check for Australia. So just go to the google and search "Web Design"

Probably. They also probably scan your page for keywords/phrases, then check your ranking for all of them, and look at the backlinks to your site, where they're from and if any anchor text is used for them, and check for those keywords as well.

Or, maybe just get the data from another service that compiles it.

Use google keyword tool, and fill the "website" textarea with the url of the site... You'll get all the keywords for this site, that you can check individually.
