Well I am ranking well for USA, current position is #11
Domain registered 12 days ago, i have a facebook fan page, YT channel and a couple of hubs.

Extensive SB backlinking done all through 301 service providers like bit.ly aimed all over the place, book marks, tweets FB and YT.

YSE = 1200 back links.

BUT i am having trouble ranking in the UK which is where i want to rank! i know i need .co.uk backlinks but i cant find services offering backlinks from .co.uk domains..

What do you sugest??

the site domain is a .net, i could not get the .co.uk one.

just use scrapebox and harvest blogs urls appending "site:.co.uk" to your keywords.

Then, when you buy a seo service, you can ask to use your scraped list.
It wouldn't make any difference to them. The service is the same

Yeah I'm having probs in UK too. Can't get to the bottom of it because I'm not autoblogging or blackhatting.

The site is not being seen as relevant to UK audience I would imagine. maybe try a UK specific landing page with UK relevant keywords and back links like tonegawa suggests. A .co.uk would help as would UK hosting and a UK address (use any UK virtual address) and even a telephone number (just use a random one but make sure the area code maches, just use them in html and hide them away somewhere like the footer. With that info you could then put it on some UK directories which I'm sure would give it the credibility it needs to rank in the UK. I can let you have an address and tel number if that helps.

I have the same problem with a .de domain. I rank in google us #30 but in google.de i aint even in top 1000. I'll try to create more backlinks from german sites now.

I created some blogs with english content and german kw in it. Plus a few sb links to site but mainly from english websites.

Really? Does google look at the ip geo location?!!! And also the phone numbers on the website?!!!
Is it your opinion or did you read this somewhere?

Domain registered 12 days ago? Give it a chance, try waiting 12 weeks & see what happens.

Cool results already for US ranking.
give it some time . you ll rank well

Change the "Geographic target" in g00gle webmaster tools to UK and add some "UK" in your tags. That did the trick for me.

Your US ranking will drop tho.

You are on the right path, just give it some time and build some links on .co.uk.

Just works for me, if I make a bit of noise on the directories and use the address phone number exactly as on the website then google can give a Google Places (providing you are offering a service to the general public) because it believes it to be legitimate, if the tel number is the right area code and belongs to you then just verify it, optimize it and rank that too.

With regards to ip geo location, I'm guessing they know it, but don't know what weight it holds.

You can buy ac.uk backlinks on ebay, uk equivalent of edu links, aim them at a UK optimised landing page.

Thanks for all the great information, currently sat at 10 11 and 13 on g00gle.com, hoping with some tweeking i an kill .co.uk
