He had it listed at $150 on a website. I offered $60 and he got back to me offering it for $125.

I was wondering what price should I offer that would mean I could get this name for the cheapest price but also mean he will accept it?

Btw, it's a domain I want and have a good idea how to make a website and monetise it. Although the idea isn't a amazing one-But I believe I can still make money from it.

Thanks for any help.

How are we supposed to know what he will accept?

Just say you'll meet him half way at $90 and can send payment immediately.

Just basically wondered as I don't have much experience with domains. I thought people here might have experienced situations and could share what worked for them which might help me. Or even been a seller in this situation and what they accepted, or what would have accepted.

But thanks for your input :)

That depends on a domain to domain basis.. If we dont know the name, we cant valuate it..

I wondered whether I could get what would be reasonable negotiation, without taking the mick, without giving the domain name away.
