I wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to give everyone here a huge thank you. I started working with White Hat SEO3 days ago, with no prior website developement, or marketing experience, and have already made it to the number 1 spot for 2 of my key phrases (both with a moderate level of competition). I started my website literally 3 days ago. I have affiliate links set up, with regards to consumer electronics. All I can say, is that I might not be up to the triple digits daily yet, but the sky really is the limit.
To all you new guys, I have a few tips that have helped me:

-Read Read Read.
When I am not writing content or marketing the site, I am reading on techniques, and theory

-Set Goals.
2 Times a day I set goals for what I want to accomplish. (ex: 6 fresh articles, research 5 trending key phrases, ect.)

-Check out the competition.
When I have a few minutes of downtime, I will check out a competitors website, and find what makes them successful.

Couple of my favorite quotes to think about:
-Good things come to those who wait, but only whats left by those who hustle: Abraham Lincoln

-Learn something from everyone. Take the good, and evolve it. Take the bad, and throw it out.

3 days?! lol Don't celebrate too soon. It could be a dance!

Did you generate any leads or sales yet?

3 days is amazing. Pure white hat methods exclusively?

Yes, pure white hat methods. I have only generated 2 low commission sales. But all of my traffic is genuine. I wasn't even planning on having any ad clicks for the first couple weeks or so

The competition can't be medium. It has to be NO competition.

Sounds like you found a golden nugget. Is this a long term keyword or quick trend you are targeting? If it's something new don't expect to last long as bigger fish come swimming around the pond.

Best of luck

My main key phrase is 3 words long, and is related to the health field. This is more of a good learning experience for me. I have learned alot. Now I know I will be able to build an effective site quicker.

google loves new sites, don't expect that ranking to last. just sayin. it's really not that easy. and if you're in a "medium competition" niche, expect your site to drop soon.

Congrats. Don't worry about google love, new site, whatever.
Just keep going.
If you keep your work plan everyday, there is no way you will not success.
Really, I wish I have that kind of motivation and focus.

I subscribe. I saw it happen many sites getting some Google love in the first few days and then dropping. Keep working on it.

Thank you for giving me even more motivation, and keep up the good work.

Work = WIN!
