Backlink to your money site?

It seems that backlinking straight to your money site via profile links and blog comments are not working like they use to for Google SERPS. Following a link infastructure like BackLinkFuel seems to be one of the newer methods that does work (heresay).

My question is, should I still backlink my money site directly at all? Should I only just backlink indirectly through buffer sites like BackLinkFuel does or something similar? I tried backlinking directly to my money site using blog comments and high authority profile backlinks, but I have not seen any results since Google's new algorithm change, just decreasing positions.

I just don't see any positive results from backlinking to my money site anymore. I just ordered a few BackLinkFuel packages and hopefully I will see some good results in the next coming weeks. I just don't know if I should still try backlinking my money website even though it appears to be hurting me.

I personally do both direct & indirect the key is making it appear natural. To much of either method looks odd.

try to Build backlink on High PR authority site(not spam). build indirect backlinks to your site. Provide maximum link juice to your site.

I've actually been watching a lot of different niches top 10 results and I came to this same conclusion a few days ago. I have a good feeling that Google is filtering out sites that have 99% of their links pointing to their root.

I'm also backing this up with the fact that a large majority of my network of sites was slapped with the panda update - all had almost all links pointing to the root.

If you think about it, Google could say that they are now looking for quality content... But maybe they are simply determining this by checking to see how many links point to that internal content. Think it over for a second... it might be the simplest way for Google to filter out 90% of sniper sites/mfa sites/etc...

I only build links to my money site. The problem is not your linking strategy but the quality of links you're getting. Forums and blogs are heavily spammed and devalued.

i just have the same exact problem. bought scrapebox scraped some lists do-follow blast them for the past 2 weeks and no improvement. i actually get devaluated in my serp.... should i use some linking scheme like this one bellow?

i comment on blogs with my profile links that backlinks to a hubpage and the hubpage that backlinks to my money website? is this a good strategy? all links do-follow to transfer the value(juice)

Go for both, first start with directly then use both.

My linkbuilding strategy is create a lot of mini blog (5-10 pages with unique articles+ video) all in different domain (free blog like wordpress, blogger, wp mu) and put a blogroll to money site (along with inner pages).
The tougher competition is, the more mini blog you need, it's a hard work but it working like a charm !

dss hit it right on the head...build web 2.0 properties (free Blogs) then link them to your money site. Be sure to link some post of the blogs to your inner pages. The write articles pointing to your money site and some pointing to your free blogs.

Then you can Blast the free blogs with forum profile links and comments.

For me blasting links directly to my money site has made me moved from page one to page 4 but with this method I have seen a study increase to the top.

P.S. I still build about 5 backlinks a day directly to my money site from PR3 + pages (not blog comments or forums)

For every bunch of spam style xrumer/scrapebox links I also build some high quality ones, I think Google gets suspicious if you ONLY get spammy links.

BHopkins hit the nail on the head. Links directly to money site work fine, it's just the weighting formula has changed. In the past 5 months of building directly to siteX, 4 months saw great gains, 1 month saw a massive correction, as if nothing gained at all that month.

Case - 20 terms have moved, 11 into top 10, 7 into top 20, 2 out there in top 100.

Tools - SENuke, BMD, Submiteaze, Scrapebox - nothing more.

Yes. Only build those spammy links to links that point to you and you will get a better result.

I find it beneficial just why i vote for both. I think both matters can bring best results.
