do you think webmaster tools help to speed indexing?

i think not - i took 2 sites with 2000 pages, in one of them i added webmsater tools (+sitemap).

for both added 1 links for front page from the same source for the first indexing (after 8 hours).

both got +- the same indexing speed for all the 2000 pages.


do you think otherwise? someone can really say adding sitemap to google help for something?

My experience has been similar to yours. I got many sites now and added only 4-5 to web master. With or without webmaster I see similar indexing speed..

Same experience here. I don't use GWT & sitemaps at all.

I never use xml sitemaps but I do create a regular html sitemap with my most important sites that I wish to rank for.
