No bull, legit details here. Break down how much you spend on what. Could inspire some people to downsize their lifestyle, could inspire others to live a dream life they always wanted. Ask questions if someone inspires you or intrigues you.

Great Idea for a thread.

BUT are we talking about Canadian Dollars or US Dollars?

I live in Kansas City MO, in a pretty good neighborhood splitting a duplex with a friend.

Our rent is $675 per month, water/sewer $65 every 2 months, Gas averages $80 per month over the entire year, and electric averages $80 per month over the entire year. Internet = $20.00 per month

Split between us 2 that is:

Rent: $337.50
gas: $40.00
Electricity: $40.00
Water/Sewer: <$20.00
Trash: 7.50 per month
Internet: $10.00 per month

$337.50 + $40.00 + $40.00 + $20.00 + $7.50 + $10.00 = $455 per month

I spend maybe $50-60 per week for food so at MOST add $250.00 per month.

So if I don't drink alcohol or go out to eat - I can and have lived off of about $700 - $800 per month for a year and 3 months now.

Local Currency is fine! Thanks man. Your situation really shows much having a roommate can save you if you play it right, which you have done.

More like dirty old white man living in a 3rd world country taking advantage of young girls. I see this all the time when I travel in SE Asia and its really disgusting.
