A member of this forum flipped my money for me a few times.. I met up with him at his bizness and dropped some dough and he flipped it a few times for me...

Uhm CPA was good so I was banking like 10k a month of that..

Ended up buying a new 350k house in upscale neighbor. I stay next door to a NFL player..

Traveled, vacation, bought 2 cars and some other misc stuff..

Opened a CPU repair bizness in the mall here

Basically I still have the money plus more

That's what I'm talking about. Your grandpa would be proud :)

Cheers

I would pay off the mortgage first, then you don't need to worry about it anymore, and you won't have to pay off the equity loan interest.

I would keep investing, I would spread out the investments a few ways, partially into something very stable such as gold and silver, and than diversify the investments in companies that I have the inside track on (not stocks, unless your the majority shareholder) Their are a lot of ways to invest smart. My first business I owned was in the furniture industry, I had no idea what I was doing. I started out only with used furniture that I would pick up for free and would sell it for at least $100 a month later I started paying for the furniture and making 200-500 profit, etc. A couple months later I used the profits I made to open a warehouse to continue what I was doing and add consigned furniture. After a couple more months I received a license to start selling brand new furniture, after about a month of selling new, used, and consigned furniture I took the business nation wide. After 2 years of the business running it was making well over 2.5 million a year.

My point to this story is that you don't need any money to make any money. I started out having to pay gas money for profit. You can make money any way you want to, the question is how do you want to live life?

If you can play things safe and pay off the mortgage (no risk, little gain)
Or you can invest a million and one different ways. Do what makes you happy :) If you want to trim trees for a living than do it, it doesn't matter whether you own the business as long as your happy with your life than I would say it's life well lived...

get the property appraised first, it might feel like 300 down the drain, but if you do not have equity - its not worth it. by equity i dont mean that you have not paid into the home, i mean:

you bought 5 years ago at 85k, you've been paying 1k per month piti, you get it appraised and you find its worth 76k after you put in your granite and fixed the plumbing.

i dont know what state your in because the numbers you presented are so low, but its important to remember that in most countries people rent, the reason they rent is because a mortgage isn't tax deductable; the reason most people purchase homes in america is for tax deductions, if you pay it off - you will lose that.

statistically, if your home was purchased anytime within the last 5-7 years with an fha loan - you are upside-down.

i dont know if that represents your circumstance, or what your ltv is. but most clients that walk through my door are throwing good money into bad.

open a subway franchise

'
funny you said that. I just had a meeting a few days ago with a investor and accountant. The investor wanted to invest and in 50 subway shops in west Tennessee and I was going to own them and run and manage them and ofcourse throw some kickback to the investor.

Investor is a family friend basically..

I flew out to Chicago to meet with them and the meeting went okay. His accountant was a dipship thought..

But everything is going good so hopefully I can sign on dotted line soon.

Like so many others, I would pay off the mortgage. Your Grandfather gave you the money for that reason. How would he feel if you used the money for X, lost all or part? How would you feel if you lost all or part and couldn't pay off the mortgage?

I'm trying to move offline. I'm getting tired of sitting by a CPU 24 hours day and a CPU business is good money.

Fix one CPU for $50 times 31 days in month equal over $1500 a month. Thats only if I fix 1 CPU a day not including other sales
ok but what about office space, electricity, etc in the store making $1500 month but your expenses could be more than half of that, best to pay of your mortgage now and play online ;).

Bitches, alcohol and drugs, casinos, live life, jump off a skyscraper building when you hit 0$.

^^^^ that was funny. I got a team of programmers working on some software. Its going to be sweet. Invested alot of money into that

Pay your mortgage if you are obligated to do that but if not buy gold and silver for sure, our economy is going to collapse even more soon and the worth of the dollar is going to plummet.

I think you should buy some keyword research, setup 20 autoblogs, buy seo programs and seo them them all. Then use the money to pay off your mortgage and use the autoblogs to make some money :D
