Alright so as I have been in the business of IM for a long time (Not earning too much, but collecting ideas and methods) I've decided to make a few e-books. But since I have no real list or so (I am not to good with the lists) I have no idea how I'll market them. Any suggestions on how you can easily get the word out?

What platform are you looking to feature the e-book on? Like a Clickbank or your own hosted site? Either way, promoting this through fanpages, water-marked videos, expert-tips on a relevant blog, etc. are good starts.

There are also various ways you can monetize the e-books, whether it be through a straight sale or the CPA "freemium" route.

You can sell your e-books on forums such as digital point or even here? (I'm not sure if we have a place to sell that kind of thing.)

I can tell you a fantastic way to market all your ebooks. PM me

There seems to be loads of affiliate companies flogging ebooks. Why don't you submit your book and get others to sell it for you?

A good way to do it is to get affiliates and let them do the marketing for you and you pay them a commission. Try Clickbank or other places that allow you to sell your ebooks.

The main thing is how you are going to get traffic. No traffic = no money. You can start with SEO, article marketing, social media, blogs and forums, etc. And remember to build a list while you are doing it because "the money is in the list."

Good luck.

Aaa so wait, if I set up a simple free bullshit salespage, I can market it on Clickbank? I haven't read through their advertiser pages but doesn't that cost a lot? Or do you only "lose" the money that the affiliates get? And about lists, I did think about that but I'm pretty sure it would take me ages to get a list together, especially since I'm a newbie in the subject.

My current plan is a simple salespage (Once I figure out how to design it). A normal PDF. It's almost finished so next week or so, I'll launch it.

I too have an eBook I'm looking to promote.

I promoted it on a small scale and made 3 sales out of 50 clicks, so it's a hot niche. Just need some marketing advice because I want to do this right.

If anyone is willing to help me I'd be interested in a JV. I can't PM yet so shoot me a PM if you're interested :)

You can try setting up your own reseller program where affiliates get 50, 75 percent of the sale.
