Today, I was upgraded to 5 stars on Textbroker. I open up the jobs and we have Sears providing jobs. The rate is 300 words = $15. Amazing, isn't it?
My profile consists of 65 articles with 100% success rate. 28 of these are 3 stars and the rest are 4.
My suggestion to BHW members looking to make some big cash on Textbroker is to be very very patient with your writing. I only took jobs that I thought I could do well on. That means checking the job list every few days and only writing jobs with a topic that I was interested in. Also, be very careful with your punctuation and word choice. Write clearly and proofread. In that sense, being a native English speaker helps a lot, but it's definitely not impossible if you're not a native speaker.
With that said, I wouldn't rely on Textbroker to be your main source of income. I only looked to Textbroker when I didn't have any jobs lined up for me (I only write to fund domain purchases, hosting payments, service payments, etc. for other projects) at DigitalPoint. Writing at DP, Warrior, or even here at BHW will get you more articles at once and it'll be an easier way to get cash.
Again, focus on providing quality content for your clients. It gives you a better chance at continuing work. Also, in the end, you can make WAY more money by doing things other than content creation. Selling your articles straight up $1/100 or something is pretty much hard labor. You'd be better off using your developed writing skills in building your own authority site or pumping out lots of articles to send out to article directories. Until you get 5 stars where the real money is at, don't rely on it.
