Hi all,

I've used xrumer to blast my site directly, and realized that the site has dropped from #10 to #100+.

However, I have an inner page ranked at #19 at the same time.

I've stopped using xrumer on this domain, and I assume the position drop is due to the sandbox effect, am I correct?

I've read that I shouldn't stop building backlinks so now I have 2 options: continue using xrumer on it, or, I'm thinking of using AMR to blast to the site, is this advisable?

How old is your domain ?

What is the size of the blast(s) you made ?

Xrumer is a very dangerous tool that has to be used very carefully. Blasting randomly isn't good at all.

Use AMR with unique articles and blast the AMR livelinks with Xrumer.

The domain is >2 years old.

The xrumer blasts added up could be >200k. But I'm using linklicious to drip ping the links.

yeah 2 years is just fine.

Remember that doing a blast can be easy , remove it impossible ;) so be careful

Good luck !! Hope it will get better soon

So true!

Thank you.

Unless of course you use a 301 redirect link so if something goes wrong can just remove the redirect and start again.

BTW, i have a 3 yr old site still dancing 6 months after a blast! In future, use a 301 redirect to blast your site or use buffer web 2.0 sites.

could you explain the 301 redirect method in more detail, not quite sure what you mean by that?

DO not Xrumer or SB blast your money site, you should buffer those with other sites such as web 2.0 or secondary tier sites you setup. Try to keep your money site looking as natural as possible otherwise it's just a matter of time before someone reports your site and it gets de-indexed.

Actually the 301 method, consist in making a blast for a different website than the money-maker one. Then, once you get traffic you put a redirection 301 to the targetted website ;)

Quite smart !

With a domain this old you should be ok OP. your dancin a little bit. Keep building QUALITY links to your domain now, and you should start to see improvement. Also try to have a diverse amount of backlinking going to your domain.

Thanks for all the tips :)

I did an AMR blast, just PR2+, and got like 27 live links immediately after the blast.

But it looks like the main domain has dropped from 120+ to 160 now.

I wonder if I should proceed with PR1 article directories?

The "PR 2" of the directories is just the directory domain - not the individual article pages, which are still PR0 or N/A.

Maybe try getting some higher quality links and add some new content to your site.

By higher quality links, do you mean such as higher PR blogs?

That would be a start. You can also buy some .edu links on fiverr, and make some good web 2.0 pages with backlinks.

Thanks, I'll start with using Senuke with a good link diagram, with a video.

Then I'll manually add some Web 2.0s.

And possibly Xrumer all these links?

The domain is 2 years old, but since when do you start building links to it? Is the xrumer blast the first effort? You must take link velocity into account.

If that is the case, yes, it is very likely Google dance. Being consistent, like others recommend, is truly key. Domain age is important but doesn't stand on its own.

Try to diversify your traffic too. Nowadays I mainly use ScrapeBox to blast links to my Web 2.0 properties... but every once in a while, I still blast a small amount of auto approve blogs to my money site. It works for diversification.

Manual comments, I'm sure, are better... but I'm just too swamped with projects so far.
