Question on A(dscendmedia and email/zip submits.

I recently got accepted into Adscendmedia but everything I told them wasn't exactly true, I told them that I give stuff away on youtube (What I planned on doing at the start) if I uploaded software and offered cracks for email submits will Adscend know and take away any profits I made and my account?

I do plan on giving stuff away on youtube, but not right now since I have no subscribers/audience.

Of course will know where the traffic is coming from if you don't take countermeasures.
But probably they'll find out eventually.

Sorry, I don't have an answer to your question but I have a question of my own. I want to apply there too but since I'm a newbie I'm afraid they'll reject me. Was it easy to get in? Are you experienced with CPA? Do they conduct a phone interview?

I haven't done anything in the past, actually. I'm a complete noob to CPA. This will be the first time I'll do anything CPA related.

So obviously they wont be getting traffic from my 'Give Away videos' but they'll be getting traffic/submits from other videos, are they strict about this kind of thing?

I kind of just want an answer saying if i'll get banned or they wont do/say anything.

Dont worry about it dude .. they are a sound network, if they make money then they are cool with you! If you tell them you want to do email marketing, but then after you decide not to, and do video marketing, it's ok!

Dont worry about it , about the cracks though you might want to like fake the referrer though. But if anything happens i know they send you a warning before terminating your account / suspending your account. So don't worry much , fake the referrer if you still can't go to sleep.

Not at all. We do enforce our ToS and do not allow the use of copyrighted content, keygens, cracks, adult, etc.

Video marketing is OK and you don't have to stick with what you told us on your app, but you do have to keep it legit.
If you're doing something that we don't allow and are getting away with it then you're just flying under the radar. But unless your methods are really out of line, we do believe in giving warnings before banning.


@SilverNight, don't be afraid of being rejected. We do reject a very large percentage of applicants, but if you get denied just shoot me a PM or reply to your rejection email.

Yea im sorry if that sounded a little wrong! Obviously you do have rules, i just meant if the OP was to change up his marketing style and move from (example) video to email .. you will be cool with that still, and they do not have to stick with the method they applied with!

Yes I know for a fact and I see it happen to people. They delete your campaign / gateway then send you a notice. They do not ban straight away though as Jeremy outlined above.

I do suggest you do some research first so that when you apply, you'd have an idea. Go to something like offervault.com to get an idea about the kind of offers in the CPA industry. Then brainstorm relevant keywords for SEO, viral video idea...etc depending on your strategy.

Yes but how would you do that if you're using a gateway on your website? Plus, 100% blanked referrer traffic (especially if in large volumes) eventually raise up eyebrows.

SilverKnight, I am a complete noob to CPA as well, and i got into adscendmedia last week. i got rejected at first, but then i wrote them an email back asking why, and what more information did they want to know, and i got accepted a few days later. i did tell them the truth, that i had never done CPA before.... it's always best to be honest, so i stuck with the truth and got let in.

Jeremy - i was wondering if there is some kind of time limit, and if my account is inactive, will it get deactivated? just wondering because i've changed my mind about what i want to do, and i'm now starting another site from scratch.

two days isn't long, you should give it a few more days, then contact them. you could also try giving them a call.
