Google will launch his +1 button TOMORROW

I've been beta testing it, it's quite cool - no difference in SERP positioning, but is basically a system to bookmark pages you like, and it saves them on your google profile. It's the big G's social bookmarking effort.

I haven't seen any difference in SERPS so far, or even a +1 counter or identifier to highlight the SERPS that have been +1'd.

Wow - really? I see another Fiverr gig comming soon!

If they use the same algos as excluding fraudulent AS clicks it won't be abused (in reality) but you can still sell a hyped service offering +1s.

What it will do is refining users behavioral data even more. I love G's ingenuity. For a generic user without a coffee maker it means he will be showed a coffee maker ad until he finally buys one, for years if needs be.

An important point in advertisement theory is to find out what a potential buyer does not have already.

Not sure how this is all going to pan out to be honest.

$5 for 100 +1's to start with after 3 months it will be $5 for 10,000 +1's LOL

Should be fun, I hope my competitors waste time with this new thing :super:

I ran a test on this with a macro style script and I managed 200 +1 in about 10 minutes with a few gmail accounts

I wonder if this could be abused?

omfg this will be abused soooooooo bad i cant see this lasting that long, maybe as long as google tags....

Nope, it can't be abused... anyone that thinks that is greatly mistaken.

+1 is here to stay and rule!

Destroy your macro, kill your bot making software, close down fiverr... it will not have an impact on anyone schooling the +1 project.

Interesting, Could be very useful and Google will handle any abuse people can throw at it, I'm sure.

Ahhhh Well i have a new project coming up :D

Lol, very interested to see how this plays out. Could change the SEO game completely.

This is quite exciting, I know for sure though that regardless of whether this helps SERP positioning, a whole new market will be created for services and products related to increasing the counts.

Who's with me? ;)
