Very curious about these spam comments I am getting

The last few days I have been getting a lot of spam comments on my blog with just a normal name as anchor text, but they all are linking to the top 3 major search engines. Why would they do this? The comments are even short with no links in them.

i don't understand that why should any one make spammy comments after getting pressure from Face book? can you please explain the matter?

@op probably someone testing for auto approves. They dont wanna get there domains banned by spamming em to the moderated blogs.

that is just a simple method to search for autoapprove blogs! After that the real blasts are comming, thats a common way for scrapebox blasts ;-)

Yep, definitely an autoapprove test for SB, i don't why they don't use a throw away blog to point to though with some affiliate offers on , why waste a good link? Top tip i received from another member here

I'm adding the captcha right now. There must be 5-10 people a day testing out my page or just 1 person that is very persistent in hoping one will stick. Thanx for the info.
