Google Realtime

Hi guys this is my sort of first contribution to the community.

Sorry if it's been mentioned before but nothing wrong with a refresher.
For those who don't know what it is it's basically when you go on Google you can see up to the second social updated from like Twitter etc on hot topics.

My idea was to have a large list of things that you think may be popular for example the Man United v Barcelona game the other day and see what people are sayng about it or stuff like when the world is going to end.

You can then see whats hot and what's not. Find something hot and you could easily setup a blog/website related to these hot topics and then scale it up.

Sorry to not be that informative in regards to the method but it does have potential.

Anyways let me know what you all think.

I have website only for that... hot topics
Everything is ready and running and CPA offers are up .
If you are willing to write short review/news on it when it happens, let me know. We can split the income. Domain, hosting, design etc etc. is on me and like I said its up and running i just dont have time to always search for the hot news.

PM me if you are interested. I started it with a friend but we are currently busy with another project. We have some google traffic (not much 20-40 unique visitors daily) but it is Social media optimized so sometimes people share it on reddit,digg,facebook,twittter etc and it gets visitors.
Content is unique and written manually, not by autoblogs.

So only thing we need is someone who will write something "trendy" when it happens and we can work on getting traffic from social sites.

not bad mate. use realtime search to find what's hot. or just get new ideas.

you did not say how you come up with the list to search for.

one thing coming to mind is to look at twitter trends.

second thing is to look for specific phrases, e.g. "is cool", "is hot", etc. (your ideas?)

on a funny note, this app presents some of the phrases in a nicer format than google: twistori[dot]com

damn, google realtime is not keeping up with twitter at all.. when you do a new search, all the messages shown span only a few seconds.. but the view doesn't update. Better to use twitter for that i guess.
