301 redirect method - safe or not?

Hey guys..I've searched a few threads on 301 and came up with a few interesting and helpful ideas to link building.

I have a few client websites to rank and 301 will be helpful and safe way to build their ranks. I plan to get 5 .info domains, setup 301 redirect (php) to client's site and then do all my backlinks to the 5 .info domains. Basically blast everything towards them and get the BL juice flowing to main site.

Is this method safe and does it work?

This is my first time trying 301, heck I don't even know how to setup 301. All I know get php redirection script/code, put it in index.php and upload to the 5 .info domains.

I believe that 301 re-directs won't give you the Google juice that your sites need to rank higher. A more senior (and experienced) member can confirm/deny or add more.

According to a few reports and threads here in BHW, 301 do pass juice and it creates a protection for you main site, which avoids sandbox. Looking for more inputs, please help.

Great to see it worked for you. Did you build a site or just domain with redirection script (I am looking at simple php).

I wouldn't use a PHP redirect. Just put a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file, and you don't need to bother building a site.

Use apache/.htaccess Permament(301) redirect , it passes link juice between pages/domains almost ~90%+

Can I create subdomains and assign .htaccess for each?

So i create .htaccess and upload to the domain root and then test it as you've said.

But remember to blend this into a balanced link building campaign.

In a video M*t C*tts from G00gle stated that 301 redirects do work ..... but they reserve the right to amend their view on these at any point in the future ...... and most importantly if a site had the majority of its IBLs as 301 redirects then this would raise a flag as it looked abnormal.

The link juice will be passed on. This has been confirmed by Matt Cutts. However be careful not to overdo it or google might see it.

Well so by using this method with 301 redirect (ive got a second EMD domain) could I blast this 301 red~ with 50k xrumer and 50k AAlist and not get any penalty?!?!? That would be STRONG.
