I have used content lockers before; and, as you say there are numerous problems with them. I see you have solved some.

One problem I find is that It is relatively time consuming to monitor each offer to make sure each is still good. Is there any way your system can monitor offers and eliminate or bypass those that are no longer good? Or, in the alternative, notify us that a particular offer is not good anymore or is being redirected?

ALSO, does your locker allow the use of Ad Servers like Open X?

What CPA networks offer Postbacks? I find it obvious that timers do not work anymore. Your traffic gets wise and you lose too much as a result.

ALSO: Does your locker record and offer metrics on CTR and/or EPC for offers being show as an alternative?

Tnx,
DW

would like to know the answer as well !

Hi DW,

Thanks for the questions.

Due to the fact we've coded CLP to accept any offers/links you wish, there's no current way to find "dead" links. This would have to be done manually. Changing links for X many lockers is simple and shouldn't take more than a few seconds once your network informs you an offer is down.

We're not using OpenX ourselves, so we're not sure about the link construction and postback facilities generated. It should work on the timer option though and, if OpenX can handle dynamic creation and passing of subid's, then it may also work with postbacks.

Almost all networks offer postbacks or pixel fire if you ask.

As CLP is independant, it has not been set up to track offer metrics. Any external stats program, such as StatsRemote, would be able to do this job if necessary. A statistics section inside CLP, reliant on the admin's input of offer payouts, is planned for a future update.

Hope that helps!

Only blanking is supported right now. Faking is lined up for a future update. Thanks!

1. So let say I choose 10-15 offers for USA, can this rotate them to show only 3-4 at a time (for split testing) ?
2. Is it possible in future to implement iframing offers, like here in crazyfix's thread?

also can you pm me these cpa networks, I have accounts in 20+ networks, but Im just curious :)

Hi there,

1) Yes, you can rotate as many offers as you like and then show X at a time for testing.

2) In short, no. Numerous reasons, but mainly because it involves slicing which tends to mean offers won't back out for advertisers, and you might not get paid. There's nothing to stop you sending them to a sliced page though, we just wouldn't recommend it for longevity.

Sure - I'll drop you a PM right now. Thanks!

Just bought it and got into a private network with Thomas's tips - will be back with a review soon.

I'm interested in this as well, but curious about the ad networks before I make an investment. Can you please pm me as the networks.

Thanks in advance.

Will send you a PM. Bear in mind, you can use almost any network you wish. We just have a few that we recommend and have personally worked with. If you're happy with the network(s) you are currently using - then by all means stick with them :)

im interested in this what are some good networks to use this with ?

You can use it with any network really. The whitehat way would be to use incent offers, and the blackhat way would be to use non-incent offers that tend to pay a little more. I'll send you a list of some of the networks we use.

Was thinking for long to buy it or not, but then something inside told me to buy it and it was the right decision!!! I am simply amazed. The installation is easier than the WP. There are so many pre-made backgrounds and you can upload your own like for adult (which I currently work with) and it?s so customizable which allows you to be like 1000% unique!

I really liked BHCB, but with ?postback? feature BHCB is history for me!!! Also I really liked the Blank Referral which I have tested all day long to be sure that is working and I can with ease that is defiantly working!!! Not to forget the Geo-Targeting!!!
I just finished building 3 sites and placing the Locker on them, let?s see how much I am going to earn this week.

Thank you so much guys for putting this thing together!

Quick question: For example, in CPAWAY, when you look the details of a campaign there is a property that is called tracking. Sometimes under tracking it says "Real Time", but sometimes it says "Hourly" etc. Does that mean it can take up to an hour for the campaign network to postback, therefore if i'm using CLP my visitor might have to wait that long for my webpage to be unlocked; or does that "Tracking" refer to something else?

Thanks for your help in advance.

For postback setup in CPAWAY they are asking me the following question:

"How should we send data to your postback? Should we use GET or POST?"

Which one should i use?

A QUESTION: WHERE I SHOULD ADD THE CODE ON A WORDPRESS SITE?

Content Lock Pro's postback script supports POST and GET, and can also be used as a pixel.

There are clear instructions on where to add the code for WP sites in our Users Manual. Further support is also available for our buyers via a private buyer's support area, as well as by email, the address has been mentioned a few times in this thread.

WOW awesome finally a private content locker which uses postback! Its a out of reach for me atm though ... will buy as soon as I can. Great job u filled a badly needed requirement in the CPA market good luck on sales :)

Can I make a locker that consists simply of an image ad that is fully clickable and is a link to an offer that does postback /tracking functionality?

In other words, the whole locker is one clickable banner ad to one offer that does postback tracking, and no html text links on it.

Yes, you can. We just put together a quick example for you with a 5 second tease time: http://contentlockpro.com/demoWG/ - obviously that can be customised as much as you like.

Let me know if you need further clarification! Thanks!
