Most of these replies REALLY crack me up. What about that thread that was started today about someone saying how buge xrumor blasts directly to their sites had sandboxed them all?

What about all the people here that say blasting your site directly with scrapebox is bad news?

What about the fact that I have sandboxed TONS of sites by blasting them too much with forum profiles in the past?

And as far as the replies to the guy that sandboxed his sites with xrumor today, 95% of them were telling the person they are NUTS for doing that to their money site.

Yet every time someone makes thread about blasting their competitors sites like that, they are pretty much laughed at, and told that it wont work? etc. etc.?

And replies saying how they have never seen the sandbox, yet they use automated tools like SB etc.?? Why do I have a hard time believing that.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying ruining/sandboxing/de-indexing peoples websites is anything I am going to do, but I AM getting sick of all the people that are saying it is not possible.

It probably wont work on real authority sites, or very well established sites, and what not, but obviously it will work on most crappy/spammy websites (which is probably what 99% of the people here have, myself included).

If you can screw up your own sites (which I have done plenty of times, along with MANY other people here), then why on earth would people think you can't mess up someone ELSE'S site?

Afraid that people may start to believe its possible or something? Worried about it happening to YOUR sites or something?

I feel exactly the same way. I image the flat earthers back in the day stuck to the Earth is flat despite the scientific evidence that began to creep forth. Its no secret you can mung up your own site, so why couldn't you mung up someone elses? I just don't do it because I believe in karma but logically speaking its obviously possible.

I blast my money sites DIRECTLY with SB, xrumer, senuke, and AMR. And have never gotten sandboxed in any niche. I've had dances where I'll bounce around for a few days, but it always settles at a higher position. Whenever I look at someone's site that has been "sandboxed" the content is crap. I'm usually surprised they got indexed in the first place.

Unless a site gets a manual review from google, I doubt there would be a penalty. Even then it could always be appealed.

this seems pointless. Google has stated publicly that they will not penalize a site for it's link sources. They just simply ignore it because they are aware of these kinds of actions.

Is your list filtered? How many blogs are autoapprove? How old is the competitors website? How many backlinks does the competitors website has? Can you answer to these questions?

Alright so heres the deal: I ran the one million scrapebox blast, 75% success rate. 750k Auto Approved Blog Comments on HEAVILY spammed blogs. I then waited a day and seen no results with my competitor.

+700. When I use site:"Website", all it shows is a tag of a picture he had on the site.

So, conclusion... Sandbox or (Penalized)

The competition I was targeting was medium-competition based on traffic travis, he already had a strong foundation of backlinks based on yahoo site explorer around 2000 - 3000 inlinks.

He was #1 now his site is gone. I'll report back if it bounces or is gone for good.

That's interesting... I would have guessed that nothing much would have happened, but 750K links is a lot of links!!!

I hope you keep us posted over the next few days/weeks to let us know if he bounced back or not.

While I probably wouldn't do this to someone, I think it is interesting information to have.

I have done this to a site.I got the guy #1 and he refused to pay.Sooo I told him no worries I'll take back what I gave.I did,he's been gone around 6 months,he's not coming back.He was on the phone sharp when he disappeared,wasn't interested,it was nice to hear him beg,not to mention the fact I doubt I could have reversed the damage.

Yes this can work,the main factor is wether the site has established keywords.If the site has been targeting one keyword it'll come back but if it's been targeting several it's possible it'll be in trouble.
I won't go into detail,it's pretty obvious (and no pm's) but yes it can be done.
I would only do it to a non payer,Ii like competition I learn from it,I don't learn when I don't get paid!!
Only done it the once but it worked and worked very well.
I didn't do it with anywhere near 1 mill,I'd say he is screwed but please keep updating this thread.

Well....I've been involved in "IM" for over 12 years now.

This possibility has really only been available since xRumer and
Scrapebox have hit the scene, with both only becoming real
prevalent over the last year/two.


I have yet to see it personally, but (full disco) have honestly
never given much time even to the thought of testing it, nor
have any of the people I run with.

It takes a certain breed of hater: lazy "man" spurned into rare
action by jealousy and/or wannabe motives of full-control
revenge....

I think most people know you will kill a new domain with a million links... but there is still some legitimate controversy with an established domain.

you can't. In a market or niche full of hate, you don't want to show off your IM skillz and be number 1 when your site isn't even 1 year old.
There are ways to get back or get out of the sandbox. If there is a way to get in, there are ways to get out.
Which is also the reason why I don't do it cause if the guy is smart enough to get into number 1 in a competitive niche, he will be smart enough to get out of the sandbox.
