Twimates.com : Great Offer (or) SPAM!?!

I just got a mail from the twimates admin :

"Hello,

I have developed an automated system that builds about 3,000-4,000 seeds per day. I can build seeds to your existing account if you give me your username and password, i can create a new account for you and give it to you with the seeds in it, or i can give you my method. Prices are below:

1,000 seeds for $5
5,000 seeds for $20
10,000 seeds for $35
method - $300 monthly subscription.

The method has to be paid on a monthly subscription b ecause it always needs constant work and updates from me, which you`ll be able to install with only one click.

I think this guy just ruined his prelaunch by sending out this mail to everyone who has signed up in advance.

Was expecting great things from this site, but with that approach, I don't think this site will do well in the long run with these kind of people running it.

Twimates might be fake? I hope not but I got the SAME exact email but the subject was Twiends Seeds..
What if Twimates is fake and it was just used to send us spam?..
If not, what else could this be from?

UPDATE: Twiends was actually hacked..
I got an email from Twiends and this is a part of the email:

Who was the attacker?

We believe the attacker was a third party who is trying to sell fake accounts and seeds generated with fake twitter and facebook profiles. We believe they were after email addresses in order to market their services to you. If you receive unsolicited email in this regard then it is likely that this is the offending party.

OMG I cant believe you are making such an offer to BHW members.Personally I think members like you should get weeded out.LOL dude if you use your brain and power of BHW you can get atleast 6000 seeds/day automated,you literaly set it and forget it.In one night(8 hours) I gotten 3k seeds from a free Imacros script shared on this very forum and in this section(just few posts under).

Dont buy,just use that script + autoclicker setted on every 20 seconds so you can skip public profiles.

Dude....You really need to improve your reading skills. Funny how you know how to use an auto script, but cant read simple plain English and understand what I am trying to say here.

I am not offering a service, I just got a mail from some guy called Alex who is trying to sell these services.

Hey, its Twimates here..

Its a long story which probably requires a longer post, however indeed one of our staff has indeed used our email list and spammed the users that had pre-registered with his own offer of twiends seeds.

This was no way affiliated with Twimates, we are a legimate site and abide by all the TOS. He has since been sacked from the team, and we are continuing to develop twimates ready for the launch date on June 1st, so hope to see you all there
