I Have 3 EXTREMELY Noobie Questions

Since yesterday I have made a blog, (A wordpress premade one at that) and I'm wondering about some things that are probably very noobish.

1: How do you set up a free wordpress website? By website I mean with the software they give you.
2: What is SEO?
3: What is the signifigance of Adwords?

Also if you would give me some feedback on my blog.

unless you have money to spend forget adwords, seo = search engine optimization crucial if you want to get high search endings rankings.

free word press just make a new account on wordpress.com unless you have a domain name you can install a new one by asking your host provider or using an option called fantastic ( Its in the cpanel of your domain name, you long in and near the bottom)

1. About WordPress you have WP Blogs and WP "standalone" (two are free).
With this last you can set-up a WordPress blog on your own web hosting (free or paid hosting).
Then you will use free and paid plugins to optimize your blog and make it self-managed (autoblogging).

Adwords is good because of the adwords tool. It tells you how much traffic a given keyword *should* receive every month and how much you *might* get per click with adsense. Otherwise, what Download said.

Everyone else here has summed it up.

1. There are lots of how to's on the net just have to go and check them out.

2. SEO is optimizing your webpage for specific criteria in order to get a better SERP (search engine ranking page) results.

3. Adwords best feature imho is the keyword tool.

Most good webhosting platforms have "one-click" install for wordpress, check to see if its available before purchasing your hosting...

I been here for more than 2 months and im a fresh noob so i got some advice for u. be prepared for the amount of reading ahead of you. there are TONS and TONS of acronyms that you will haveto research and tons of info that you have to understand. check out the download area, u can learn alot from there.

good job making these threads though. you help other newbs as well answer these simple but crucial questions.
