Can i get banned from Youtube Doing This?

Hello,

I read through the Youtube TOS and am still confused so i am seeking advice.

i am posting trailers for movies on Youtube. the titles has the word *watch* in it. and in the description, there is a link to watch the movie for free streaming from a website. the description also says *click here to watch this movie*

so is this against the TOS of youtube? i actually have 4 trailers up and have links to watch it for free but the trailers arnt getting much traffic so i dont htink i am flagged if it IS against YT TOS.

any response is greatly appreciated.

Yes you can lose your account for this it will more then likely be reported by the producers and removed youtube sometimes will give you a few chances but expect the ban hammer to come soon.

Lol..but don't you wonder then why there are other millions of videos, who aren't owned by the people who posted? Yes, like trailers too. The TOS is usually made just because there has to be a TOS..and even so, yes they can ban you, but that isn't 100% sure. Some people have hundreds of thousands of views with movie trailers, and their account is perfectly safe, online. U mad?

Yea, Madruha is right. There are millions if not more, stolen videos - music videos, trailers, interviews,etc that people don't have the copyrights to but are still getting loads of views each day and their accounts are in good standing.

But, youtube has every right to delete your account if they want to. This happens only when - either the video is being flagged by your competition or if the owner of the copyrighted video wants the video to be removed and you still keep uploading the video.

You should buy a few youtube accounts and test all this on those accounts.

some videos do get passed the filters every now and then... your only remedy is playing the numbers and mass upload hoping some sticks.. cropping the hell out of the video and changing the pitch wont hurt.. also you aint gonna make shit out of 4 videos of those trailers unless you know how to seo youtube very well. Put up like 20 a day at least for 2 weeks.

i was planning tto upload tons of trailers into one channel . butif theres a chance that my channel can get banned then it is a waste of effort then.

can you recommend a free software that can crop trailers? is there even a free software that can do this? i am quite tight on a budget or i would want to bu camtasia

i use sony vegas. you can probably find it easy somewhere (torrent). if you're loading tons of trailers, then it doesnt make sense to focus on one account.

Movie Trailers is also protected by copyrights.... I also uploaded tons of music but i always received copyright infringement and all my video is blocked worldwide...

seems like its a hit or miss..i have had some CR material that was flagged/blocked in the past...and others on separate accounts that didn't..YT's is unpredictable..probably on purpose

Five year old YT acct and the first movie trailer I posted got the CR flag, but the CR owner let it stay and YT added ads to it. They also stopped promoting it like they were doing right when I first posted it...

everything is against the law on youtube nowadays. Best to use a 3rd party site.
