Best SEO themes for Wordpress?

My last SEO guy used the Church Theme.

I also hear about Thesis a lot.

Suggestions?

yeah sure church theme is good put personally i think flexibility is the best for optimization.

Thesis is really flexible but I've been having A LOT of spam (scrapebox comments probably) on my personal blog where I was using it.

The reason? I had left the footnote intact. So make sure that if you use any kind of "seo perfect" themes that you remove the original footer from the theme.

CTR theme is good at my option. I am researching with CTR theme now one with image add and another with text add. what i feel is text add converts well than image add in CTR theme.. lets see. I will post regarding this soon.

themes are just for layouts not SEO, any theme can be optimized if you use the right plugins

I totally agree, better to ask what are the best SEO plugins in this case...
