i personally use hostwinds, i got his top level VPS and its very stable plus he's always around to call either on skype or on the phone if you need anything

One thing I haven't done yet but have been thinking about is signing up for some "green" hosting, I think if you have customers who purchase directly, (and care about this sort of thing), it could help your conversion rates a bit. I checked a few companies, they usually provide a nice "green energy powered" type button to put up on your site.
