Using Adwords with ClickBank

I have been experimenting with the Adwords display network promoting clickbank and plimus products. For now, direct linking to the sales page (new to this) but plan on working with some squeeze pages in the future. I read somewhere Google does not approve of affiliate advertising? Could some one clarify if this advertising method is against their TOS and if there is any way around it if so?

yes it is against their TOS (officially) google hate affiliates, what you need to do is build a landing page or an entire blog around the product and try that way, yes it sux, you can use different traffic methods also, like bing or other ppc platform, even facebook are cool (although rapidly going the google way)
