CLPro Product Review
Skill Level Needed
CLPro is so well designed that a total noob can buy & setup this script without any issues. You do need to know how to setup a database & upload files, If you do not understand how to do so its very easy & you can search google and find tutorials & videos that will help you get this done. its a very easy process.
IMO this script will work great for
ANY skill level, From the first week noob to the 5+ year pro's. This script allows a complete noob to create a gateway w/o having to generate their own images, but yet allows us more advanced users to create a custom gateway & gives you access to every aspect of the gateways design, from background to pixel size & even Padding. But have no worries people, if you don't have the experience creating images and understand how pixels work then you can use one fo the 100 Pre-designed Templates they have provided with the script.
Layout
CLPro has a very unique design, The script is well organized & very easy to follow. There is no extra added confusion to any of the pages, They have provided "hover overs" to explain every step along the way incase you don't understand what they are asking of you. There is no blinding colors that may hurt your eyes or cause on page lag. They have kept the scripts layout very clean but effective.
Guide
The guide provided is also very well presented. It's very easy to follow & includes great detail on every aspect of their script along with giving you some resources. Each process of the script is in its own section, they did a very good job keeping the information separated for easy following. They have shown you how to use this script with your WordPress blogs. They even briefly explain some niches you can target. Keep in mind if your new to this type of thing that's it's always best to take the time to read the guide fully before you get started (it's only 43 pages).
Features
The number one thing that CLPro provides that all the other self hosted gateway products you will find on the net including BHCB don't, is their PostBack option. For those of you that don't understand what a postback script does let me tell you.. A postback script allows you to keep your content locked till you are credited for the lead the visitor has just completed. This allows you to forget about timers, who wants to set a timer and hope the people don't realize they don't even have to do anything to unlock the content?
Most CPA network offer postback options. Even if you don't see anything about them on your panel, just contact your AM and ask them about their postback options.
CLPro also allows you to block your referral's, this means your CPA network will have no idea where your lead was generated from. Its leave the referral blank on their stats. This is a great feature, as long as you understand that this can get you banned from your network. It's not always needed. Some Networks will provide you with offers that you can place on your gateways. So there is no need to use this option. You can also use incentive offer, but just because it says its an incentive offer does not mean they will allow you to place the offer on a Content Locker, remember Copyright Laws.
CLPro allows you to be in full control over your gateway, You can pick how many offers are shown on the gateways. You can even set an option to rotate the offers, this will allow random offers to show up each time the gateway is refreshed or re-visited. CLPro also allows you to preview your gateway as your creating it! You can create as many gateways as you want, So those of you that use multiple LP or campaigns you can set up multiple gateways and run them all at once.
Almost forgot, this script allows you to set geo-targeting as well! This is great for people that target a broad section of the world with their content/traffic.
Price
CLPro is a
STEAL at $97. Even at $197 is a very far price.
I put up a thread on a freelancer site a few weeks ago looking to have a gateway script created for me, something unique like CLPro. I got messages from people telling me they could do it for around $140. This was the price for a few simple JS files. With NO backend script like you get with CLPro. They wanted me to pay them $140+ and everything had to be edited inside my sql Database. This would have taken me hours to create each gateway & add links. So grab this asap people. It's well worth the little money they are asking.
How well it works
Well those of you that use *******,lead bult, dollarade or any other network that provides a gateway service you know that the conversion rate is very low. This is because its hard to target traffic that's willing to spend 2-6 min filling out a survey to see content. I know when i used ******* I had around 1 conversion for every 150 clicks or so... That's not that great.
CLPro allows you to use what ever offers you want, So you can use first page submits.. Forget asking your visitors to fill out a long survey. Place a first page submit on there, and earn the $1+ for your traffic taken around 10 sec to complete. Think about it, have your visitors spend 10 seconds, or have them spend 2-6 minutes of their life trying to fill out a survey that might not even unlock the content anyways?
It's a no brainier. Stop washing away money to company's like ******* & other gateway networks. They are making way more profit from your hard work then you are. Your basically feeding other peoples families when using ******* or any other gateway network.
I have been real busy this past week, so I didnt have a great deal of time to test the script out to where I can show you it earning me a great deal of money, and I apologize. But i will tell you i sent around 120 random twitter users to my LP i created with a gateway created with CLPro and I got 35 clicks & 5 conversions. And mind you, this was random traffic from twitter. I used first page email submits. i only had USA offers on the gateway, and some of them 120 visitors were outside of the US, so that way my own fault for not adding international offers to the gateway, I'm sure it would have given me a better conversion rate. But 5 conversions from 35 clicks is not bad at all for random traffic.
Support
And at last, lets talk about the support you get behind CLPro...
I had issues with getting my postback working on one of the networks I used to place email submits on the gateways.
JohnsonD contacted ME on skype just to check in and ask how things were going with the script, He came to me! He wanted to ensure I had it running and had no issues, as well as to get some feedback on how well I enjoyed his script & if there was anything I could give feedback on. It's great to see someone going out of their way to contact me, It should be the other way around, I have an issue I go to them, but I didnt have to at all.
JohnsonD took the time to go over trial & error with me. I explained what I had tried, and then sent him an image of my postback options, It took him less then 2 min to respond with the correct method to get the postback working 100%. This was a network he was unfamiliar with and yet he still had no issues helping me get everything running smoothly.
After he got it working for me, we talked for a few min, he let me know about some addons they are working on. Gave me the inside scoop on things they are looking to add for the next version. I'm not going to leak any info, but these guys are on a great track. They are already starting to improve their script from feedback they have gotten from costumers.
All in all guys, IMO this is a great script. I think anyone that's into content locking should really look into this. All you Viral Facebook guys & girls, This will increase your earnings. And a very large increase at that.
Grab the script before the price gets higher and higher.
