Nothing is dead. Link building schemes change every day. Some are more powerful some are less powerful, but if you want to rank high while staying natural looking then you have to add every kind of backlinks to your site. Linkwheels are one option, if you're going with LWs only, then you'll have problems. Then again if you only go with link pyramids, you might have problems... Try to be creative and design your own diagrams that are more complex and contain all the backlink sources you can think of. Keep building links at a steady (or slightly increasing!) rate and you WILL see SERP movement in a few weeks tops. Then keep doing it until you reach top10 but don't get lazy even after you reach it because new competitors rise every day

well may be it can work, however you should collect those tools and hope you will get success. there are lots of tool;s just make a search and collect one that you like best and easy for you.

That's exactly why it works as it is hard to keep track of and thus does not leave a foot print.
I know a guy that uses Excel to keep track of that though... he's much smarter than I am so for him it is a piece of cake.

Fully agree. LWs are adequate to get a simple backweb up for a site with minimum hassle and relative ease, compared to the link push monster depicted above. LWs are still the only time-economical way to manage doing backlinks for a mountain of mini-sites if one is building a farm. Just keep the last link open (don't close the wheel) or maybe vary the size of each wheel, and that should be sufficient for most purposes.

First of LinkWheels work. In fact our business had doubled since the Panda update. Its how you do them. The most important thing is that its not automated, especially the content. If you focus on good content and dont do shortcus then you should get and maintain the results that we are seeing for our clients. The chart above is nice but at the end of the day you have to be constantly updating the LinkWheel formula. Linkwheels are great but also following the basics is important as well. Make sure you add content to your site and dont over SEO by focusing on keyword density etc. I would focus on the meta title. Google likes random so make some pages long and some short.
