Quick backlink question

I have created a new site. It has no backlinks yet (I have started link building but non are indexed yet). One of my pages im targeting a long tail KW and I have been indexed in google at number 124

The top 5 spots are sites with pr 2-4 with little to no backlinks for that page but they have 10000+ backlinks to there domain (homepage & other pages)

How hard do you think it would be to get my site in the top 2?

It will most likely take a while.

Focus on getting to the top 10 for your first goal. If they have 10k backlinks and have a PR2 - PR4 then they most likely have an older domain or they paid a lot of money for high pr backlinks.

What niche are you in?

Its more of an infomation niche on how to do something. main competitors are the links of wikihow and sites like that (although number 6 is just a niche targeted site with exact keyword domain and around 60 links to there homepage)

I would assume it depends on the PR of the page that is outranking you and how many BL's that page has then again I am fairly new to this anyone care to share their insight?

It's going to take a while. Target another keyword.

I thought only page backlinks where important and domain ones only carry some juice

This is going to take some time, most likely 6 months or so. Just be consistent and get high quality links to build a base and tolerance and then add some profiles and blog comments to help boost IP diversity.

Yes - Initial Effort is right .. It will take time, but the sooner you start the quiker you'll be in the top 10.

There is a backlining free trial on www.autoseosystem.com. I tried it and they look good.
