im guessing uk authority sites are .gov and .ac.uk

yup, ac.uk are great, if you find any high pr pages I suggest you manually post comments because they kick ass!

I'm in Edinburgh myself, I only started doing websites in Feb and just purchased scrapebox so starting to blast links.
