For me FACEBOOK traffic has done the best......

They say organic traffic is the best... but I do not have the time nor patience to sit there and watch the grass grow while traffic to my site grows....

I like things fast and furious...

Wait amazon cookie is not 24 hours. I believe its 24 hours if you just click, but if the customer adds something to their shopping cart then its 90 days. Unless that customer clicks or adds an item to a cart through another affiliate's link.

I get a lot of delayed purchases. It really starts to add up after few months of steady traffic.

yes but that is a special circumstance... people put something in the cart..

but for general purpose the cookie is 24 hours....

I've had an Amazon associates account for a few months and haven't made anything through it yet.

I recently implemented a method I saw on this site that basically said do some yahoo answers and post your link in them.

Good for you. Personally, I have not been doing well with Amazon. I have a targetted mirco site that is on the first page of google, yahoo and bing. My amazon account shows that it receive around 5000 to 7000 clicks very month, but earnings is only $15.

Yeah I had a few sites doin well with Amazon too and then my state (Illinois) passed some gay ass law and Amazon shut down all affiliates in my state.

I had a site like that.... it would frustrate me... tons of clicks but no sales..
If it not that other sites were doing good..... I almost came to the conclusion that amazon was shaving... lol... but no... i changed it and fixed it....

now sales are good on that site too....

ive tried it, but it was a half hearted effort.. il give it another shot. n btw did you know if you promote a fanpage using FB Ads you'll get the cheapest deal .. i got a cpc of 0.01 once

Thanks. I am just worried after hearing the post about yahoo answer because it's somewhat related. The amazon aff links on my youtube videos are like 4 months old now and earns around 60 dollars a month. I think I will start replacing them with my site link now. I have 200+ quality videos with amazon aff link by the way.

Its not good to keep that much money all riding on one account.
They decide that you are violating TOS for some BS reason...
then they keep your money.
I lost an adsense account with $6000 about 2 months ago.
For some bullshit reason. so i opened several adsense accounts.

This one is for the last week of March 2011.

Amazon stuff does well with review sites...

I drive traffic to them thru several methods....
one of them is facebook pages and facebook ads..

I have like 3-5 sites for each amazon account....

Stay away from their astore crap... it gets labeled as a thin affiliate
and gets deindexed real quick....
