--"Stop Forum Spam"--Anyone else seen it!?

I recently wanted to check out where some of my backlinks were coming from so I did a google search for "link: mysite.com" and the first result that came up was from a site called StopForumSpam.com

I quickly clicked on this to check it out.

The worse thing about it all is it had my IP address and Hostname recorded. The Email address it had down and username were definitely from my AMR account.

Has anyone else seen this? Could this possibly be an explanation for a lot of the big drops in Google that have been happening recently? I definitely recommend heading over to that site and searching the records to see if you can find yourself.

There are sites like this,basically they want to exploit all the abusers like AMR and Xrumer users....i dont know though if it would give us bad impact on Google SERPs, hopefully it's not...

Some of the stuff people target our blogs with beggars belief, its all comments spun from a barely comprehensible original paragraph, covered in completely visible links.

if you get on this list (i got on it through wordpress scrapebox commenting) your ip is blacklisted and there are a lot of legit forums that refuse to allow you to use them that say you are using a proxy when you aren't.

Be careful out there!

This is a part of the game, its part of the risk.

Usually nothing will happen other than having your email/IP address/domain blacklisted from forums/blog commenting. But, what's the surprise here? Again, it is part of the game.

Don't sweat it. There's really not much you can do. And it really doesn't mean that much.
