I have several niche sites, a community website, and now I just purchased my first name as a domain site. The problem is that I have no clue what to do with it.

I write short stories, articles, and design templates/websites for people online, but I really don't know what I can put on my personal site to get people to view it.

Any ideas?

If it's your personal site only you know what to put there about yourself! :)
Maybe you do something utterly interesting some days that you want other people to know about, like brushing your teeth.

I agree. Still, there is only so much you can do with a personal blog of daily activities. I thought about putting up articles about things I am interested in. Instead of using yahoo contrib. which really doesnt pay well.

yeah, what else can you put on your personal site other than personal stuff. just make things really interesting and not look like a schedule book of some sort. your thoughts or reviews about something you ate/bought/etc. is usually a good start.

Are you a writer? Then post some short stories and get people interested in your work. If you are selling services make a pitch about your skills, customers etc. You can do a lot of different things but you sound a bit unsettled as to what direction you want to go.

Yeah you might as well, that's what I've been thinking about doing..

I agree. Yahoo Contributor doesn't pay well at all. I think I am going to go the way of articles and traffic. I am waffling on including Clickbank or e-mail submits on the site. I was using adsense until my ex clicked my account into oblivion.
