Yeah, that one would be a killer. Upload a photo, pay $500 and get nude pictures of them. Kind of hard to implement in real life (due to unavoidable jail time eventually) but if there were some photoshop sweatshops any body picture can be slapped to any face and a normal user won't notice the difference.
What makes a porn site great is allowing adult stuff without any limitations. Most of the mainstream 'hubs' have a list with forbidden stuff which is always longer than the list with allowed stuff so they all end up having similar content: sets of tits / lips (all three kinds thereof) bouncing up and down and that's it, nothing else -> boooooring.

anyway - my 2cents. I'd say categorized thumbnail galleries are the best for attracting people with. One thing I often see that can be really eye catching is some method these sites use of air-brushing or slightly glossing over the thumbnail images which they use. It somehow inexplicably makes the images wayyy more "attractive". Something with a nice, easy layout - like pichunter for example.

I think a porn site's popularity greatly depend on video quality and porn stars. Personally i never visit those site whose video quality is very low. For example Defloration.com always provide attractive virgin video have high definition as a result it is a popular porn site over the world.
