Dude you need 2 things for start. Learning SEO (on-page and offpage) + PROSENSE TEMPLATE. one ad on every post and another at side bar. no more than that!

I partly agree with this guy. If your ctr is that low you should try some cpa.
On the other hand: if no one clicks the cpa banner you also earn nothing
Try different ad positions and themes and find out what is the best for you!
